Thank you for reading and commenting, Suzan! I'm so glad it resonated-- I always appreciate hearing from folks (sometimes it feels like I'm just typing into the void 😂).
What a great piece Laura and thank you. I will write about my recent femur fractures and the weird discomfort of feeling as though I was having an out of body experience the first several days. I still dissociate at times, briefly. Writing about early relationships though may take me over the edge, so I will leave those to ones imagination- insert wink and smile. Although getting kicked down a flight of stairs in our apartment brings up the muck and yuck. Thanks so much.
Jann! I’m so sorry to hear about this— what a traumatic event in and of itself, let alone what it can bring up— I’ll look forward to reading what you share. Dissociation can be so unsettling when knowing it’s protecting us. Sending you so much care and healing thoughts— 💜
We are living in a divided nation full of upheaval and discomfort, the tension of the opposites feels like a tug-of-war. We can't let go, standing our ground is a daily practice! Thank you Laura!
Thank you so much for sharing this post. Really enjoyed it.

Haha! It does feel like that at times. But please keep sharing 🤍
Thank you so much for sharing this empowering post, Laura. ( I became emotional when I tried the palms exercise, and that surprised me :) 🙏🏻
Thanks for reading, Kelly! I am always fascinated by what shows up with this kind of work— so much to explore. I’m grateful for your share about it!
